Blondie Launches New Website, Prepares for 2010 Tour & Album Release
2010 is set to be a busy year for Blondie. Just days ago, she launched her newly designed official website. Blondie fans are sure to enjoy all the new features including an extensive music, video, and photo collection, fan club, and more!
The launching of the new site also announced the first installment for her 2010 tour! As of now, the tour will kick off June 8th at Villa Marina, Isle of Man, UK. Blondie be across the UK & Ireland until August.
Her first show in the North America is scheduled for August 5th at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, Santa Rosa, CA. The tour will continue on across the US & Canada, ending September 12th at the House of Blues in Boston, MA. For a complete listing of dates, check out her official tour page.
In addition to hitting the road this year, Blondie is in the final production stages for her upcoming new album, “Panic of Girls.” No release date has been reported, only that it is expected some time in spring. Blondie has announced that Dutch artist Chris Berens will be creating the cover art. You can view the completed artwork on Berens‘ official website.
“Panic of Girls” has been in development for over a year and according to guitarist Chris, “the long period since the last record has certainly pushed it into its own space…” Don’t miss your chance to see the live this summer! Blondie tickets are sure to be on the way.
